Can i get a price check on this computer

#1

saw it on craigslist…

"I am selling my old AMD tower to switch to a Core 2 Duo. Here are the specs:

Athlon 64 3500+
ASUS A8N-VM Motherboard socket 939
1 gig DDR RAM
80 gig hard drive
Geforce 6100 256MB onboard video (dedicated)
2 CD drives
5.1 Surround sound support
Windows XP professional with Service Pack 2
Microsoft Office 2000 professional "

price is 275. is the price good?

if it matters, i’m looking for a computer just to basically have my own. the computer i’m on now has an admin password that my parents put on it. plus the 2 CD drives are broken (so i can’t play any type of CD games). i’m not looking for anything too high tech or “up to date”

That’s actually a pretty good deal IMO. Get a new video card though the onbard one is horrible

what’s wrong w/ it ? if it’s for games, the only game i really play is Warcraft 3 which i doubt needs anything special. thanks for the input though, i’m kinda computer nub

For $275 that’s a fucking steal.

#5

^^QFT, looks like a good deal

Yeah, $275 + replace the 2 CD drives is a pretty good deal (as he said they were broken). Heck, it beats (only slightly) what I’m running now.
