Can you check the Frame Rate on PC

#1

So I moved recently and my PS4 is at my old home and I probably will have to wait for 6 months to get it. So I want to get it on PC, but can you check the frame rate to make sure it works smoothly?

#2

You mean is there a benchmark? There wasn’t in the beta. I don’t think we know about retail yet.

#3

Man I hope they make a mandatory benchmark like they did for IV.

#4

U can use fraps or msi afterburner

#5

What’s a benchmark? I’m talking about something like the Blazblue Continuum Shift Steam Release where it shows the framerate.

#6

I use MSI Afterburner for everything but if you don’t want to install anything extra Steam itself has an FPS counter built-in to its overlay. Look in Steam Settings>In-Game.

#7

Steam has a way to display your framerate in game. Go to settings - In-Game and then there’s a dropdown menu called In-game FPS counter somewhere in the middle. It’s a bit hard to see at times but it works.

#8

Oh! Thanks a whole lot! This will definitely help me.

#9

Wow, thanks for that.

#10

You can make it easier to see by selecting “high contrast color” in the same menu. It’s still tiny though, and I don’t know if you can increase the size.
