Changing router bits

#1

So I borrowed a router from my Dad, and I’m having trouble figuring out how to change the bit. I’ve searched around and most say you need two wrenches and you turn each in the opposite direction. I’ll ask my Dad, but I can’t get in contact with him for a few days, so I thought I’d ask you guys. I’ve got a picture here, I’m just wondering what I’m supposed to wrench onto.

Thanks

My router’s collet doesn’t look like that but I think I can help you out here. You’ll want to twist the larger nut with the one directly behind it. That copper piece looks like it’s part of the shaft and doesn’t necessarily look like it locks bits down. My router has a single black collet that can only be twisted when I lock the shaft- So You’ll probably want to turn the larger one counter clockwise while you hold the smaller one in place.
