Common Ground PS3 controllers with Analog Sticks

#1

Are there any? Do these even exist? Even Google didn’t find anything other than some pretty outdated threads.

I need something for my Project Diva pad. Reason we want common ground is for LED lights; other wise I could just as easily use my DS3 and call it a day. In addition, the analog sticks are required for the Scratch/Star notes.

The only controller I’ve found to fit this criteria is the actual Hori Miku pad. I could probably get a used one off Amazon but the cheaper the better.

So:

  • Controller must work on PS3
  • Controller must be common ground
  • Controller must have analog sticks

Any suggestions?

There is no analog PS3 controller, wired or wireless, that is common ground that I am aware. There are two ways to solve this:

A. Get a Dualshock 4 controller and padhack it.
B. Put together a circuit consisting of optocouplers/resistors or transistors/resistors to make the PS3 controller common ground.

Here is the link for more information to build said circuit:
Connecting Seimitsu LS32-01 or Sanwa JLF to non common ground xbox360 pads

Hope this helps.
