UNFORTUNATE CHANGE OF EVENTS HAS FORCED US TO CHANGE DATE OF TOURNAMENT.

Big Saturday Tournament on May 12th. Keep that Saturday Available.

When: **May 12th, Signups start @ noon 12, Games start @ 2pm **

Where: Rack-N-Cue Games Room Located at the bottom (Rec & Dining Level) of the Cesar Chavez Student Center 1650 Holloway ave San Francisco, CA 91432

Games Being Played: Street Fighter 3rd Strike, King Of Fighters XI, Capcom Vs SNK 2, Marvel Vs Capcom 2,Soul Calibur 3, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection (each game must meet 8 person minimum)

Entry fee: $5 per game .25 pay-to-play, Tekken 5 will also be .25 pay-to-play

Payout for pot: 70/20/10, we need at least 8 entrants for an event to occur.

btw, i love states marvel machine. im definitely there and can almost guarantee at least 5 other people comin.

sign-ups at 12:00 and tournament starts when? I kind got confused last time, you should really add the tournament start time.

Here are some things that I think you should mention on the update.

  • Located at the Cesar Chavez Center.
  • Games are pay to play ($0.25 for MvC2, 3S, CvS2, $0.50 for SCIII, T5 DR, etc.)
  • A list of the games that are to be played.

Oh, and for those who aren’t familiar with the area and are driving. Don’t park at the Stonestown parking lot. A buddy of mine parked there a while back, and ended up getting his truck towed. So yeah. It’s just not worth the risk. Instead, try to find parking on the other side of the campus.

I’m pretty sure Ian has 3S covered, and I’m willing to help out if any other games needs a host.

I’ll make it clear now that 3S will be 1 on 1 this time, double elim, 2/3.

Thinking of 2v2, but doubt it.

I think SCIII is $0.25 now, not sure about T5 tho.

As far as parking goes, I would recommend the street between the apartments and stonestown, Buckingham… I think… because that parking is all day cept for like… monday or tuesday at 7am… Holloway and that whole area is 1-2 hour parking only.

i thought the timed limit parking was only for weekdays?

Yep. The tournament is held on a Saturday, so it should be alright to park on that side of campus for the day. It’s only 1-2 hour parking on weekdays, until 6.
