So, it has finally been announced: Dhalsim is one of the returning SFII characters in SFV. He, however, seems to have changed quite a bit. Here, watch the video and see for yourself:

his v-trigger looks like erron black caltrops

He’s like the street fighter dormmamu, he looks very very offensive based

Finally a Sleep Fighter lame ass zoner. Too many mid range and yolo characters so far. He will definitely test the viability of zoning. Whitr chip medium and heavy pokes here we come.

His V Trigger looks very interesting. Like a big flame carpet. Doesn’t seem to have a hit box but must put some type of effect on the opponent. His anime style fireball into teleport stuff seems intact. Like the new design also.

The way his belly bloats during the super is kind of off-putting.

Figured he’d be the last returning character, happy for Dhalsim fans but this is a zero hype reveal for me. Yung Art EVO champ 2016

His Critical Art is arguably much better than the SFIV version. The arc means that it automatically controls the air unlike the SFIV version which was grounded. The latter could be blocked, this one cannot, at least not in the air so the opponent is forced to stay grounded. This means 'Sim can better walk his opponents backward as it prevents jump ins, forcing them to deal with his buttons.

Finally a character whose design everyone likes? Or soon people will complain the monkey skulls are not the correct size for the chimpanzees found in India.

I dont think his limbs are gonna be that great they look really slow and they have a strange recoil just like in snk v capcom chaos
