anyway, this is my first time playing this game “for real” I played it for fun back then but I knew nothing about it (fundamentals, how to parry, etc.) can’t wait for next week, though. gonna use Dudley and Urien, maybe Makoto. I’m gonna be so bad at this game for a while.

lol oh wait, I thought cliffside was doing this. I just noticed the thread title with “specific punishes.” Look at you trying to take credit… so baaaad.

I’ll type them on notepad, gotta call ISP cuz xbox won’t let me connect… so just gonna be in training and using notepad to edit the specific punishes + frame data information. The videos are good, but it’s best if you read because it helps you remember when and how to punish.

Maybe, as a beginner, it would be a good thing for me to look after and keep on top of… I will do my best to make sure setups are tested and verified before updating original post.

Abel

Adon
cr.HK can be HP/EX Jet Upper’d on block or st.HP.
LK Jaguar Tooth’s are unsafe. st.HP right when coming off the wall. You won’t trade unless you delayed it. On block, LK Jaguar Tooth is unsafe, you can punish with st.LP > st.HK, or cr.LP > st.HK. The others are safe on block except for when you punish with Super.
Rising Jaguars are free. U1 / U2, f.MK > st.HK for punish.
Air Jaguars (I’m gonna work on it tonight, they are punishable depending on the HEIGHT of the move, they can be unsafe.)

Akuma
Sweep is -9 on block. EX Duck xx Straight for punish and U1. EX Duck xx Upper can also be used to punish if Sweep is not space in footsies.
Akuma’s st.HK is punishable if second hit whiffs. It’s free, f.MK > st.HK or cr.LP > st.HK. U1 and U2 also if st.HK whiffs on second hit.
Overhead can be punished with st.HK, block high.
Demon Flip Sweep punishable from close with f.HP, EX Duck xx Straight / Upper or U1 / U2. From far, just U1 or LP MGB.
All Jaguar Kicks are punishable except EX. Punish with cr.LP > st.HK or st.LP > st.HP (I need to look into this more, I think I made a mistake)

Balrog
cl.HP ad cr.HP punishable by st.HP
Dash Straight LP -3, MP -6, HP -8. All Punish with st.LP > st.HP. Punish HP Dash Straight with U2. You can throw 'Rog out of his EX Dash Straight.
Dash Upper LP -3, MP -5, HP -7. Punish all with st.LP > st.HK / st.HP. You have to stand block, he recovers super quick if you’re crouching.
Dash Ground Straight LP -8, MP -9, HP -11. All versions are throwable. All versions punishable by U1 / U2 on block. Super free. If the glove hits from tip, then it’s hard to punish with a normal
Dash Swing Blow LP -5, MP-7, HP-8, EX -5. st.HK punish all versions.
Dash Ground Smash LP -5, MP -7, HP -9. st.HK punish all versions.
Buffalo Headbutt LP -13, MP -13, HP -12, EX -12. Super free, just f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, cr.HP > st.HK, or U2.

Blanka
cl.HP -7, cl.HK -6 are punishable with st.HK. Far st.HK -5 punished with st.HP. cr.HK -7 also punishable by st.HP. cr.HP -10 is super free, U1 punishable.
His slide is -14, it’s so free. U1, f.MK > st.HK, st.HK, cr.HK > Duck xx Straight xx Super.
Rolling Attack LP, MP, HP, EX, all -15 punishable by HP MGB, EX MGB >, and U1. It’s free and punishable on block and hit with U1.

Cammy
Punish st.MK with st.HP; it’s -6. cl.HK is -11 and punishable by f.MK > st.HK.
Her sweep is -8, U1 for big damage.
Punish Cannon Spikes with U1 / U2 or f.MK > st.MP > st.HK. All Cannon Soike versions are -30.
All Spiral Arrow versions are -10 or worse, if it’s close and still active punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK or U1 / U2. If it’s spaced, HP Jet Upper or st.HK.

Chun-Li
Her cl.HP is -7, you can st.HP, very unsafe so st.HK > for punish. st.HK is punishable with st.HK or jab > st.HP. cr.HK -5, punish with st.HP. If it’s spaced it’s unpunishable. EX Spinning Bird Kick is -18, free U1 / U1 punish.

Cody
His cl.HK is -5. Punish with st.HK / st.HP.
His sweep is -9, U1 for punish.
Bad Spray is -20. f.MK > st.HK, HP MGB, EX MGB or U1.
All Criminal Upper versions are -5 or worse, st.HP for Punish, or st.HK if they’re close. U1 or U2 if it’s EX or HP, unless it’s spaced, then U1.
Ruffian Kick is -7 or worse. f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, st.HK, Super, U1 / U2 if it’s MK, HK, or EX. If EX is spaced out, you can st.MP xx MP MGB or st.HP.
All Zonk Knuckles are -8, U1 / U2 for punish. EX is -7, so punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, or st.HK. If EX is spaced out, you can st.MP xx MP MGB.

C.Viper
Overhead is Super punishable.
EX Thunder Knuckles are -5, you can HP Jet Upper.
EX Burn Kicks are -12. You can punish with U1 / U2, or f.MK > st.MP > st.HK

Dan
Dankukyaku (1st) is -3, st.LP/ cr.LP > st.HP / LP MGB, cr.LP > st.HK, or Super.
You can st.HP before the startup of Dankukyaku’s or stuff them.
DPs are punished by f.MK > st.HK.

Dee Jay
cl.HP is -8. U1 or st.HP.
far st.HP is -9, U1 or LP MGB.
His cr.HK slide is -6, st.HK or st.HP.
Jacknife Maximum is -10 or worse, punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, f.MK > st.MP > st.MP > st.HK, U1 / U2.
Double Rolling Sobat LK is -7, punish with st.HP. MK, HK and EX are -8 or worse. Punish with U1.

Dhalsim
All of his slides from close are punishable by st.HP, f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, or U1 / U2.
Yoga Flames are -8 except for EX (+1) so punish with U1 / U2.

Dudley
st.HP is -5, so st.LP > st.HP, or st.HK for punish.
His Launcher (cr.HK) is my -8. U1 / U2 for punish. If it’s spaced or meaty, there’s no punish.
cr.MK is punishable by st.HK, if spaced then st.HP or can’t be punished.
Target Combo st.LK > st.MK is -4. st.HK for punish.
Duck xx Straight is -5, punish with st.HK, same for Duck Upper which is -6.
Thunderbolt is free, punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, f.MK > st.MP > cr.MP > st.HK, U1 / U2 or Super.
Jet Upper (all versions) are free, punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, f.MK > st.MP > cr.MP > st.HK, U1 / U2 or Super.
MK and HK Short Swing Blow are punishable by st.HK xx.
Target Combo f.HK > st.MK is -3, punish with st.LP > st.HP.
Victory Rose is punishable by your Victory Rose. Have Dignity.

E.Honda
All Headbutts including EX are punishable by U1. HK Butt Drop is -3 so st.LP > st.HP.

El Fuerte
Splashes are punishable by MP MGB or U1.

Fei Long
cl.HP is -12. U1 / U2, st.HK, or f.MK > st.MP > st.HK. cl.HK is -9, so f.MK > st.MP > st.HK or U1 / U2.
His sweep is -9, so U1 or LPMGB if it’s up close.
His overhead is -4, from close you can st.HK. From mid you can st.LP > st.HP or st.LP > LP MGB.
His Flame Kick (DP) is -29 or worse on block. f.MK > st.MP > st.HK or U1 / U2.
All Rekkas on are -4 of worse except EX. Punish with HP Jet Upper or st.HK if it’s not canceled. You can also punish the second hit. This is all when it’s not spaced, only when it’s close on block.
LK “Chicken Wing” is -4. st.LP > st.HP, HP Jet Upper, or st.HK for punish.

Gen
[Mantis Style]
cr.HP is -5, you can st.HP it or HP Jet Upper.
cr.HK is -7, you can st.HP it.
His DP is all -35, you can st.HP, st.HK on landing, U1 / U2 or f.MK > st.HK.

[Crane Style]
Punish all his wall dive kicks, overheads, etc. with f.MK > st.HK, U1 / U2, HP Jet Upper or st.HP.
st.LP is -4, so st.LP > st.HP or HP Jet Upper.
st.MP is -3, so st.LP > st.HP.
st.HP is -5, so st.LP > st.HP or HP Jet Upper.
st.LK is -3, so so st.LP > st.HP or HP Jet Upper.
st.MK is -5, so so st.LP > st.HP or HP Jet Upper.
st.HK is -6, so so st.LP > st.HP, HP Jet Upper, or f.MK > st.HK.
cr.LK (juggle sweep?) -12, U1 / U2, st.HK, f.MK > st.HK, st.HP, or Jet Upper.

Gouken
Far st.HK -3, punish with st.LP > st.HP.
Demon Flip Slide is -13 so U1, f.HP, or st.HP for punish. st.HK is the slide is close. Free on block.
Punish his overhead with st.LP > st.HP; it’s -3.

Guile
Punish his 2nd hit of cr.MK with a LV2 Focus. From there you proceed to f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, cr.HP > st.HK or f.MK, st.MP, cr.MP, st.HK for big punish.
cr.HP is pnishable by st.HK, st.HP, or U1 / U2. (it’s punishable but no Guile player will use this on block)
Flash Kick is punishable by f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, cr.HP > st.HK or f.MK, st.MP, cr.MP, st.HK for big punish.

Guy
Punish his running > slide with f.MK > st.HK if close and not spaced.
Punish his running > overhead with st.HP, it’s -6.
Ninja Sickle (his grounded flip kick) is -9, punish with U1.
All DPs are -15 or worse, punish with f.MK > st.HK or U1 / U2.
His overhead in Super was -3 or -4 on block. In AE it’s -2, so it’s UNPUNISHABLE. REMEMBER THAT.

Hakan (still working on)
f.HK is punishable by st.LP > st.HP
cr.HK is -11, you can punish with f.MK > st.HK or U1 / U2.
Oil Slide is -17, you can punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK or U1 / U2

Her Sweep is -9 so punish with U1. If the Sweep is done close up you can also HP Jet Upper or U2 as well.

Her Raida (command grab which CAN’T be caught on block) is -13 or worse. Punish with U1 / U2, st.HK xx.
Her Kazegirl (DP) is -26 or worse, duck after you block to avoid the Kunai and punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, U1 / U2.
Tsumuji is her Jumping overhead and can be canceled with Kunai or Super. Duck to avoid any of those and punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, U1 / U2.
Her EX Tsumiji is U1 punishable. It gives over you after hitting you.

Juri
cr.HK is -9. U1 punishable and LP MGB punishable.

Ken
st.HK -6, punish with st.HP. b.MK is -5 and f.HK is -4, punish with st.HK or st.LP > st.HP depending on distance.

Makoto
st.HP is -9, so U1 / U2 punishable, LP MGB, st.HP.
f.HP is -8. U1 punishable.
f.HK is -8, punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, U1 / U2.
cr.HP (sweep) is -9. Punish with LP MGB or U1 / U2 (if U2 it has to be blocked close).
LP Hayate is -8. Punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, U1 / U2. MP and HP Hayate is st.HK xx punishable. EX Hayate is -4, so st.LP > st.HP for punish.
If up close, all Oroshi (Overheads, including EX) can be punished with st.LP > st.HP.

M.Bison
cr.HK (sweep) is -10. If spaced, Punish with st.HK xx, otherwise punish with f.MK > cr.MP > st.HK or U1 / U2.
Psycho Crushers are insafe if not spaced. They can be punished with f.MK > st.HK. Can also be punished with U1 if it’s a cross-up. EX can be punished if crossed up with U1 and MP MGB.
Scissor Kick is punishable with st.HK, or st.HP, except for LK Scissor Kick which is 0 on block. HK and EX is U1 punishable.

Oni
Rose
Her sweep is -10. If it’s close, you can LP MGB, U1 / U2. If it’s spaced, U1 for the punish.
Punish her slide with cr.MP xx MGB since it’s -5. You can cr.LP > st.HK or cr.MP > st.HK as well.
Soul Spiral LK -8, MK -6, HK -4, EX -6 can all be punished with st.HK up close or cr.MK > st.HK on her EX. If it’s well spaced, sometimes you can st.HP except the HK version, otherwise its very hard to punish if spaced.

Rufus
cr.HP on block is -14, on hit its -10. If you’re close you can punish with U1.
LK > HK Target Combo? (someone please confirm Frame Date) can be punished with st.MP xx MP MGB or st.HP.
Overhead is punishable by st.HK xx

His Tiger Knee is -10 or worse except for EX which is -1. Punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, f.MK > st.MP > cr.MP > st.HK, or U1 / U2. If they’re spaced TKs, punish with st.LP . st.HP.

Sakura
Her overhead is -3 so st.LP > st.HP if it’s close.
All DPs are -12 or worse, so punish with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK or U1 / U2.

Seth
His far st.HP is -15, super free. From mid range or close, punish with f.HP and U1. From far, just EX MGB. You can punish his far st.HP on hit (-11) with U1.
His cl.HP is -7, st.HP and st.HK for punish.
Sweep is -9, so U1 for punish.
Hyakuretsu LP, MP, HP, and EX are -24 on block. Body with f.MK > st.MP > st.HK, cr.HP> st.HK. U1 / and U2.
Punish Seths U1 with EX MGB or U1, same for block U2, which can be punished with everything (f.MK > st.MP > st.HK for big stun and damage).

T.Hawk
st.HK is now -7 in AE. In Super, this was U1 punishable, in AE you can only punish from close with st.HP, or st.HK.
cr.HK is -7, you can Focus second hit for a LV2 crumble, or st.HP after second hit.
You can punish Condor Dives on block with U1, EX MGB, HP MGB, HK Duck xx Upper / Straight.
Condor Spire is -7 or worse, so punish with st.HP, st.HK xx Jet Upper, st.HK >, or f.MK > st.HK. EX is -3, you can st.LP / cr.LP > st.HP / st.HK. On hit, it’s -5 or worse except EX. You can st.HK, st.HP, Super, cr.MP > st.HK, or HP Jet Upper.

Vega
cr.HK is -12. U1 / U2, f.MK > st.HK or f.MK > cr.MP > st.HK.
His overhead is -4. st.MP xx MP MGB or st.LP > st.HP for punish.
His wall-dive “cross-up” -s -20, EX is -18. Punish wth HP MGB, EX MGB or U1 / U2.
Scarlet Terror is -12 on LP, MP and -15 on HP, EX. U1 / U1, f.MK > st.HK punishable.
Flying Barcelona is punishable on block with U1. This move is unfinished.

cl.HP -6 punishable by st.HP or st.HK. st.HK is -10 punishable by st.HK because if it’s pushblock. cr.MK and cr.HK which are both -5 are punishable by st.HK from mid or close range.
Banishing Flat LP -7, MP -8, HP -9, EX -9, all punishable with st.HK. MP, HP, and EX punishable by cr.HP > st.HK or U1 / U2.
Both Lariats (Fierce is -44 and RH is -22) are punishable by st.HP, f.HP, st.HK, and U1 / U2.
