Nice Shadow Ace, keep it up ( ^ _ ^)∠

#6322

After spending time meditating, convincing myself that I have done all I can for Gen, i am now ready to adorn the mask of the lucha libre. now that I can RSF 2 reps into slide consistently. I WILL NEED YOUR HELP AMIGOS!!! So expect some thread assault from me hahahahahhaaaa!!!

#6323

thought you guys’d find this funny

#6324

hey guys havent posted here in a while, been busy with real life and playing SF4 here and there. But I ended up going to NEC and placing top 32 for my first major, kinda disappointed because I could do better. But Im guessing thats what I deserve since I havent practiced seriously since before summertime. My focus just wasnt there and I didnt play as good as I wanted to.

I lost to Valle in Winners Finals of my pool, even though we played the night before and we had some good matches. I got absolutely trashed, but it was cool because that rarely happens to me anymore and actually made me more hungry. Shoutouts to IPeru for beating him consistently, Valle knows how to fight fuerte pretty well.

Lost to Gridman in Losers bracket for top 32, kinda upset because I actually enjoy that fight, but I played it completely wrong, not smart, impatient, not mixing up properly. But gridman is a great player, but if I would have won that match, there was no one in my bracket side that would have gave me trouble on one of my “better” days.

but yeah thats all really, gonna start playing more when school starts. It’s just hard juggling school, work, social life and tournament training all at once. But I’ll get myself up there again guys. Gotta keep the fuerte flame going.

#6325

Das deh spirit mang. I hope you werent annoyed at my so called “coaching” attempt. I noticed you dont spam RSP as much as before. Call me crazy but I think thats better

#6326

i think against valle it works because hes too disciplined, i was doing it to him the night before. But yeahhhh its all good, just gotta wait for my next opportunity.

#6327

Really? I figured since he’s disciplined and such a student that he’d know what’s unsafe and pick it off.

I’ve also wondered about mixing in an EX Run during RSP when there’s an abundance of meter.

#6328

I just know he would rather not DP unless he really needed it but yeah, I didnt splash enough either. Alot of little things i didnt doo all weekend.

and yeah for EX run, i havent tried it, it could be useful though. Sometimes they get counter hit DP and it breaks glass sooo idk, ill test when I play though

#6329

Yeah thats what pisses me off. Getting a Reversal DP for shit like that. BUT that could also work in our favor. Just another mind game to get the opponent to open up more out of desperation by mashing reversal or throw get’em to freeze up even more.

Its an idea.

#6330

Valle knows the mu very well plus he has one of the best throw games soo on wake vs him is stupid if u don’t know how he plays. If you can make him respect you u should win though. Using ex run while doing run stop is just asking to get reversald glass broke. The risk reward is not worth it even for fuerte, u waste a bar then you run through a jab or normal for 100 damage or get lucky to run through an srk that’s not reversal for big rsf damage when u could just do the dame thing by cr mi run back wait and not waste a bar.

The top 8 of this tourney had me salivating wouldve been very easy for fuerte to win had there been one in top 8

#6331

Yeah his throw game was crazy, I’m not used to that, only like against Sanford really,

And as for top 8, I really think I cuda won since I’ve beaten knuckledu and Kevin so I kinda knew wat to expect, Ricky wuda gave me a problem but I was ready. Imma start traveling more tho, I had alot of fun, I just gotta play more, it’s not like big two where I know everyone’s play style and can mix em up easily

#6332

Well there goes that idea XD. My execution is a bit better I am probably gonna make a ssecond version of my tutorial videos. And actually make one show casing his actual combos. maybe even a mixup video. I need to use Gordita Sobat more and I have some shenanigans lined up.

I need more practice and experience though. I want to be the guy that ‘randoms’ someone out.

#6333

So what what exactly is EX QBomb good for? Ive always been too lazy to hold 2 kick buttons so I never used it before

#6334

On counter hit it causes a wall bounce does pretty good damage and retarded stun.

Q bomb beats Abel ultra 2 clean. Trades with Sakura ultra 2. Beats Zangief lariat. Beats badly placed dive kicks. Beats tatsu.

Level 3 and ex q bomb on hit recovers a bit faster then the others.

It can also beat shitty air normal.

#6335

Hey everyone I have a question. I was playing in an endless lobby and a seth player came in and I felt completely helpless after that. After I got knocked down I either got command throw’d or got hit by something. Is there any options that I can get out of this situation?

#6336

^^guess right =\

  1. Ai Ra Bu “Yuu”
Chuu Ashi Zesshou TKD (El Fuerte)
    Shungoku Neurosis (M.Bison)
    Ikari Oyaji (Akuma)
    Bonchan (Akuma)
    Yuu★ (Akuma)

for that big team tournament tomorrow night

#6337

Calm down. look for a pattern, and guess. Dont forget about your back dash. Knock Seth down. Splash him to death. if he jumps EX guac him quickly. Seth has shit health which means even El Fuerte can murder him horribly.

Thanks  I’ll keep that in mind and watch the replays. Lose to learn and win to express the knowledge. A couple years ago when super came out I would look into this forum for advice and tips. I didn’t have an acc back then and I wasn’t confident enough to go to tourneys, but el fuerte as a charcater was quite facinating to me. I got a lot of crap for it (random, “no skill”, auto pilot), but that didn’t stop me. Watching 50 yen, tkd, iori, paper, kai, and even iperu inspired me to keep playing. 11 months ago I stopped playing, but I couldn’t lay the stick down. This time I came back and now I want to be apart of the tourney scene. When things get together I’ll make the effort to get out there.this time I’ll try not to be a stranger/spectator anymore.

Lol paper.
