good shit, some concrete organization and details

#3

I will donate a PC station for the bulk duration of saturday and sunday, provided that there be a TV to hook it up to.

#4

Good shit Arly, it actually worked out without me yelling at some bitches.

Anyways, I won’t donate my laptop for use, but I’ll run brackets for PS2, and run brackets (or someone else can) via my laptop.

#5

Just so there is no confusion, the MBAC b2 PC tournament here is the same tournament that is posted at:

http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=134564

The PC tournaments are one and the same. Feel free to discuss them in any of the threads. Donating laptops to that area also donates them to the MB tournament.

#6

Yeah I’m dropping our money match Veteru.

I really don’t want to bother with the PS2 version anymore.

#7

Hmm. Should I have a raffle prize for Melty Bread T-Shirts?

#8

Can I buy one with Hisui on it?

;3

#9

I can donate a couple laptops, but only one has S Video output. You’ll also need to supply your own s video cables cuz im a cheap and poor nigra.

HOW DO I OVERCLOCK USB PORTSZ

#10

Argh I’m never going to get t-shirts done on time >_<

#11

go minimalist

small pic of neko on front
small font of meltybreaddotcom on back
both centered
black tshirt
sweatshop
done

#12

so whats the deal with those $200 Money matches issued from Veteru? Don’t tell me he’s afraid and backing out now?

#13

Well according to his answers last night he might not even be entering the PS2 tournament either. Something about taking a break (from what?!).

Ask him on irc.

#14

One thing–vsync should be disabled, it causes up to 2 frames of video lag.

#15

What’s Vsync?

:open_mouth:

#16

that depends on the drivers and the video card running it, but most people don’t care or notice the tearing anymore.

and no the IRC is not a good place to setup rules for a MM. too much garbage text, idiots, no reliable backlogging. take your pick. Forums are better, and now what no more money match? what happened to the earlier shit talking?

#17

Enabling vsync causes lag no matter what video card or drivers. The whole purpose of vsync is that it waits before displaying the frame after drawing it so that there is no image tearing.

Disabling vsync causes minor image tearing, but lets you play without lag. I really don’t think there’s even an argument here. Disable vsync, or have Laggy Blood PC tournament.

#18

i’ve never heard of vsync lag til now. oh well, id better not run melty with fraps with recording either…
