combofiend/kindevu were classic matches.

Awesome dude, congratulations. I wanna take lessons.

props for destroying tokido’s A-vega with your A-sagat. that made me happy for some reason.

warren: i saw your vid against tokido. good shit. i thought it was going to be ken madness with 10 throws in one match.

btw preppy, i used p-kyo, cammy, sagat r2.

in pools:

warren lost to kindebu
nestor lost to hak
ino lost to combo
mago lost to knit
rf lost to valle

I don’t think you need permission from anyone to rematch me. Rematch me as many times as you feel like it .

The top 6 players:

USA: 2nd/3rd/4th/5th places
Jap: 1st/5th places

Even if it was a Japanese player who won at CvS2: this year USA performance as far as rankings kicked ass, by this rate it’s a question of time untill USA get’s the 1st place at CvS2, even Mago who already won SBO at CvS2 got placed way down and the monster BAS got placed 13th? :wow:

question: is Kim Hahn Hoang the same Kim from (http://www.crazyasskim.com) ?
if so: congratulations Kim for recking the Top 8 again  (still playing with that crazy Rolento?)

Charlie lost to Daigo in pools
Who is this guy named Rugal who got 25th?

You are forgetting that Mago lost to Knit and Bas… both of whom are Japanese players.

However, I’m still impressed with USA’s performance this year. Justin Wong and Kim beating Bas (evo 2k5 winner), Buktooth and Combofiend beating Daigo (evo 2k3 2nd place), Ricky Ortiz and Gene Wong beating Knit. Good stuff.

Why thank you!
It had nothing to do with getting “permission”; I knew there were others would needed to practice as much as I did, but I just let my anger get in the way, hence me playing you over and over. It was still good playing though. Maybe next time, I’ll do better.

Yes, it is.

Well for one Mago quit CVS2 for a long time and started playing KOF for Tougeki/SBO. Second Japanese never play on Console for tournament only Arcade.

:wow:

Mago quit too? God damn it, all the japanese are quitting now.

I just realized that Combofiend and Ino were in my bracket  So, I don’t feel that bad for getting kicked out of the pools by Ino.

I don’t think he really quit.
He was on the last bigs cvs2 japanese tournaments before Evo.
For a while he was focussing on kof11 for Tougeki.
Same as last year, he was focussing on CFJ for Tougeki.
Because Mago likes to be on the scene, executing high kick with bared foots

Otherwise, yeah, don’t forget that Ino was out of the scene for a long time.
Daigo as well ( but he started praticing few month ago ).
Onhuki is more 3rd strike player than cvs2, same for nitto.
Top cvs2 players in japan are not the same as in the past.
Now Nakanishi, Dan, Rai and many others are on the top.
But still BAS must be number one so big respect to ohayo1234 for defeating him and to offer footage of the event so quickly

Everything you said was pretty much on point.

A bit late but congrats to everybody that placed and gg’s to whoever i played.
