Will be there with a crew from La Crosse! Hoping this tournament will fill up, at least for SSFIV. I know one thing, Kao will not be able to take down Mini Paws.

#3

Me and a few friends will be attending. It’ll be our first tournament experience, really looking forward to it.

#4

Looks like Mini Paws will have to show up. Teach the Wausau people how to play SSF4. lol

#5

Paws, can I get a ride with you up there?

#6

Bad planning as usual. All the Milwaukee players that matter will be in Chicago that day.

#7

@Syxx573 Sorry, GGWausau is still new! We set the date last month and started advertising locally already. It would have inconvenienced those already signed up if we had changed the date. Didn’t know about the Chicago tourney before then… maybe next time for those Milwaukee players! We will be hosting monthly tournaments of all types and will try to post our fighter tournaments on here at least one month in advance in future. Hopefully that will help!

Simple question, hope it’s not dumb.

Will the tourny be 1 match at a time per game, or will there be a few games going on at the same time. Just wondering because of a controller situation.

#9

Hi Datsumsharks, not a dumb question at all! I’ve run into a situation where I’ve had to share my fightstick with friends. We will have a number of stations set up so that more than one game can go on at the same, especially during the first few rounds. If your turn is up but you don’t have a controller available, just be sure to let one of the officials know and they will hold the game for you!

#10

As of now I believe we have around 6 from La Crosse going. There are quite a few “Maybe’s” so there could be 10+. Shia is possibly going to make it as well!

#11

Shia’s in, Munny’s in, Saw’s in. Should have some good matches at this tourney!

#12

Can you provide a list of number of entries per game? I’m not sure about pre-registering depending on the weather (given how Wisconsin weather is so random), and I wouldn’t want to hand out free money if I couldn’t make it.

#13

@ Orion9251 - After speaking with GGWausau, they will not turn anybody down that shows up and wants to play. If more than 32 people attend for a certain tournament game, some players throughout the bracket will get bye’s.

#14

crappp why couldn’t this be next week ;___; i want dat marvel money

#15

Only 5 days left!!! Can’t wait!!

I am trying to decide between going to this, or Chicago’s Tournament that is on the same day,

So I don’t get it, what is the $1,200 Bonus for?

And I want to Play MvC3.

For Example, Chicago’s Tournament is giving a $500 Bonus to the Marvel Vs Capcom 3 tournament,
1st place gets 70% of the Entry Fees pot + $300
2nd place gets 30% of the Entry Fees pot + $150
3rd place gets 10% of the Entry Fees pot + $50

So what is currently This tournament’s Payout Structure? what is the Bonus?

Is there a $500 Bonus for Marvel vs Capcom? $1,200 Bonus for Marvel vs Capcom?

1st - 70% + $600 Bonus?
2nd - 30% + $250 Bonus?
3rd - 10% + $150 Bonus?

j1n: The pot was originally maxed for 32 players at $320 per game (there are 4 games). However, we are now accepting over 32 players to participate in each game. We are still doing 70/20/10, and the full entry fee ($10) goes towards the pot. This applies to all (4) games. There will also be a bonus of $50 worth of gift cards awarded to the first place players of each game. Hopefully this answers your question!

#18

Milwaukee is going to own tekken!!!
