it can still be used as a portable 6gb hdd, or can be used to upgrade a 4 or 5gb zen micro.

i also have heard that you can replace the hdd with a compact flash, so you can turn it into a 16GB flash based player / storage
to make it a removable disk, from the main menu, go to extras, removable disk, click something (anything), and then select storage size.
