I’m looking for a ton of help from the local community to make this a success. I intentionally pushed this tournament as far away from the T tournament as possible before school would start for students. Here’s hoping for a brand new big local tournament.

Blazblue 2on2 team tournament will follow alternate player format. Essentially, if A1 beats B1, A2 plays B2 and A2 must win for team to advance. If B2 wins, he must play A1 to determine the winner. This tournament is still very much in the planning stages and a lot is up in the air. I know that SFIV is a huge game and the hordes will probably want a team tournament for that as well. Time will tell.

#2

location location location!

#3

I agree.

#4

Rae is currently looking up venue costs and has told me he will know by Wednesday. As soon as we lock a location in, I will surely announce it ASAP.

#5

I’ll be in attendance and joining SFIV.

I will talk with the POWNZ community about coming en masse to help support what will hopefully be another large tournament tradition on the west end of the GTA.

#6

I’m willing to direct KOF XII if nobody else is interested.

#7

I’ll be on hand to direct SFIV and do my pro imitation of Ai’s battle stance, which is imo the best fighting stance ever invented in fighting games.

I’ll determine a backup director to hold the fort while I’m playing my matches later on.

#8

how about i just steal your job :stuck_out_tongue: i’ll be back-up director

#9

ill try to make it
and hopefully nagata’s ken will scumbag the win in sf4 after im done teaching him a few scum tricks

that is if i get the time to actually play the man

#10

vince,
isn’t this tourney the same weekend as the anime expo???

#11

you mean fan expo? if so yes

#12

Xbox sf4 would be killer

#13

So, I’ve been looking for places to hold this tournament, and its been hard to decide on a place without any idea of how many people may or may not come. The best place I can get with my money now probably sits at max occupancy of 90 people.

So, what’s good? It would help me a lot if I got an idea of the numbers I can expect.

#14

…this tourney is in August how would you expect anyone to know what they’re doing at that time?

#15

I don’t see anything wrong asking if people can already tell me if they want to come. People seem to know damn well what they will be doing for the T tournament. I know that’s no comparison, but all I’m looking for if even a little positive response, so I know it’s worth dropping my own money on a bigger venue (and not shooting myself in the foot when I book a room that only fits like 40 people and more than that shows up).

#16

Get HYPE!

#17

Mark Me Down One of the best SF4 Players myself In Canada, G1-D I think I might start getting into this whole tournament thing, plus i work full time,

Guess it’s time Canada got a rude awakening into who really is number 1.

I’m cocky

#18
