Game pad suggestions for 5 year old

#1

Hello all. My almost-5 year old son absolutely loves street fighter (he loves Adon as that is who I mained on Sf4)

For his birthday, i am customizing a qanba q1 with his favorite characters on it. I am also getting him a raspberry pi with retro games installed (he loves mario). Can anyone recommend a decent usb game pad for his small hands, so he won’t have to play every game with the Q1?

I’d go with this model of the Hori Fighting Commander, it’s cheap and small, a bit thick though

let him stay with the q1 exclusively

imagine the kid gets good, what a sight it would be seeing a 5 year old kid kick ass using an arcade stick

Skylanders made descaled xbox 360 and PS3 pads a while back for smaller hands:

Saturn USB controllers are a nice size too. The Play SEGA fakes are quite cheap and not too bad, albeit inferior to a proper model B.

Let him play Mario, the way you got to play Mario!

Works on Wii, Wii-U, and VC too.

I think it’s time to summon @Gummo and see if he can turn any sort of child’s electronic peripheral into a legit fighting game controller once again.

Want me to mod this?

Or remod the old vsmile again for next gen?
