looks fun, but i won’t be able to make it!

#3

Ill try my best to make it, not just to win and compete but to help support GNG. Let’s all get up yo!

#4

I wonder if SF heads would actually bother to stick around to play MvC2, CvS2 and SS2 after SSF4 is done. I can’t imagine a lot of people would want to be up till 4AM for games that are not SSF4.

I understand that some games have to get a bad time slot, due limited resources and the insane amount of games being officially played at this tournament. Maybe it’s just better to not run some of those tournaments though. Even though it’d be nice to see a Melty Blood tournament, there’s no point running it if there’s only going to be five people entering it.

Just a thought.

#5

Let’s do this. I’ll try my best to make it back up there for this.

#6

If the stars align. I will show up.

#7

Fuck that, run a round robin like at Raging Storm and at least make the game available for anyone that plays it…

#8

I will be there.

#9

I’ll be there with the brothers for what looks like all day. Flash kicks, falcon punches, and some Sentinel beams be waiting for y’all.

#10

Some how i missed clear sky post bout that. I agree with Des, lets still run it.

#11

I’ll still play it either way, since it is my favorite fighter at the moment. However, if the tournament for the game gets axed I wouldn’t mind it at all. I think it would just suck if we missed some old school action (CvS2, MvC2, SS2) because people don’t like it’s time slot.

#12

Dropin a line for the love of this tournament

You might have to write out the rules in all of these games later.

#13

This is Championships I am not dropping anything. I am proud of our community and the support our events will get.

#14

I have not problem doing round robin events. I want to make sure some of the best games ever made get a chance on the main stage.

Where is the facebook event page?

Raise hype! Taking T6, KOF98, SSF4, BB:CS, Garou, MB:AA, CvS2, and TvC no matter WHO shows up. That monies are MINE!!!

#17

damn Jordan is confident…! he’s basically calling out:

Izzy, Reggie and Esom in T6
big mike, izzy in Garou
erik, derrick, des in kof98
aj in MB
aj, izzy, caleb in BB:CS
wes, big mike, marc in cvs2
and all of Minnesota in SSF4

 HYPEEE!!

Is there any way to compress the start times? 11am to 11 pm start times? This pretty much guarantees that we will have to hang aroung for 15 hours+. Do you need more set ups or more people to help run things? It would be nice if things started after 12pm and tournaments were completed by midnight. If there’s things that can be done to help, lemme know-

Will there be a projector?

And would it be okay to run a side-tournament for Magical Drop 3 and Twinkle Star Sprites? I talked to Kiel, from NeoGeo, yesterday, and he’s going to try to round up the Neo crew. The tournaments won’t interfere with the main tournament games, and Magical Drop 3 runs super fast (even faster than HDR).

#20

If we were to do that, we may have to eliminate some games off that schedule…question is which ones? I would love to have things wrap up at midnight some casuals all the way till 3am.
