Console: PlayStation 3

Rules: If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select.

Winner must keep the same character, but can select a new ultra in game 2 or 3, but has to pick the ultra before the opponent picks theirs. This does not apply to blind pick.

Note:

**Depending on the number of participants, organizer reserve the right to change the number of games played.
Important Notes:

For users with Wireless Controllers:
-We will be adding tags and holding on to your controller to prevent interruptions of ongoing matches.

-Please bring your own controller. If you do not have one, we will provide you with a PS3 Dualshock.
-Please turn off and disconnect your controllers after your match.

-Please respect your opponents and be a good sport. No need to get salty and throw your stick at people. This is a tournament there is always a winner and a loser.

-If a player accidentally or intentionally stops the game for any other reason, he will be forced to forfeit the round. Example include accidentally pressing the start button on his controller to pause the match, unplugging his or his opponents joystick, etc. If the game cannot be restarted from the exact point of interruption, the player is forced to forfeit the Game.

-PLEASE be on time for registration! I cannot express this enough. We will not allow late entries, so please be there on time. It helps making the brackets easier.

-Do not delay your matches, if we call you up and you are not there within 10 minutes, that will count as a loss to your match. We do not want to do this but, we really want to keep the ball rolling with as little interruptions as possible.

Please pre-register at Its Gosu so that we know how many systems to set up for this event. We expect to have over 100 people attending but not all will join the SSF tournament.

Im thinking you need to be WAY more clear on that pausing rule. That or I’ll abuse it purposefully…

Update to reflect the EVO ruling.

If a player accidentally or intentionally stops the game for any other reason, he will be forced to forfeit the round. Example include accidentally pressing the start button on his controller to pause the match, unplugging his or his opponents joystick, etc. If the game cannot be restarted from the exact point of interruption, the player is forced to forfeit the Game.
