I’m sorry. We all don’t live in Japan like you do.
This one is pretty funny.
I asked a simple question. Nothing offensive. But since you wanna get cute.
I don’t live in Japan but I’d rather live there than live like you on your mom’s couch with your hip in style cool pony avatar thinking it gives you street cred here on SRK. I’m sure the ladies love you.
Might wanna do some research on what NESICA is… and on my life if you really believe I still live with my mom (if you’re interested, sounds like you are).
Here, let me help you out. Obviously you’re new to the internet, but here is a great site on researching info:
I still don’t see what’s wrong with NESiCA x Live either (outside of being Japan only), since it seems to be a good way for arcade operators to save on costs.
I REEEEEAAAALLY really really really hope so! If they bring out a new GG or port AC with netcode, then there’s gonna be a new console in my future.
I guess if Kliff and Justice are playable that might be interesting. I thought the only major difference between plus and normal was eddie unblockables became 1 frame high-low transitions rather than true unblockables.
It’s the Japan only part which I think most people hate.
I hope this means a revival of GG like it has been said before.
Now i want to see some I-No high level play.
Seriously? That’s pretty uncalled for.
It will be nice to see Kliff and Justice used in tournaments though.
browsed over the link given. lots of cool looking games there. sega seems to be pretty much on top of their game but only in japan.
time to load up GGXXAC on my psp once again. hopefully this will make it to XBLA/SEN
- An old game that you like is being remastered in HD!
- You can’t play it in your country!
- Your heart hurts while you hold out hope for a console port with netplay!
This is the worst kind of good news. I am excited and disappointed at the same time. My emotions are all twisted up and my guts are following suit. Now I feel sick. With each and every passing moment I feel even sicker. Stay tuned for more updates about my body at twitter.com/deadfrogsbody
How is this different than drooling on any arcade game you don’t get to play when it’s out?
i gotta remember how Kliff & Justice played. As I recall, Justice took a little over 100% damage and her big hitbox made her more vulnerable
and Kliff took even more damage than Chipp (or the same I forget) but had silly amounts of damage and stun on his attacks
I wonder if this will be output in 720p, and if so, what (if anything) will be done to address the 4 frames of delay that is the minimum for native HD output. Giving unreactable mixup to several characters, including the S tier with Eddie 6K and Testament 6P, doesn’t exactly sound like a good idea for game balance or interesting gameplay when regular AC with only 1 frame input delay already exists.
As shown by current GG online play, Delay 4 GG is playable but is an entirely different game than regular GG.
The differences is that you either have a chance or you don’t. And in this case, none have a chance.
Unless NESiCA has any kind of schedule release of bringing there servers outside of Japan, then I’m all up for it.
But in the mean time, this kind of news is perty worthless, and only teases those looking forward to this.
To be fair, there’s info on NESiCA thinking of bringing there system to the states… but only time will tell. We’re still waiting on Namco to give us the “okay” on there servers.
Also, the game should be running on 744p, or something odd like that.
I forget the resolution of Arcade monitors, but it’s not 720p.
Arcades are already notorious for being unsanitary places at the best of times, but if you’re slobbering on the cabinets then you’re GROSS, man.
Resolution of monitors =/= native output resolution of the platform.
I would be very surprised if the native output was anything other than 720p since that’s what pretty much every HD game released in the last 5 years on arcade/console has outputted at for native res.
But it’s not.
Arcade games have a different resolution type than that of console game.
I may be missing some details here and there, but anyone who works at an Arcade can tell you that no game runs at 720p, but has a different native resolution (like 744, 760, I forget).
Not to mention, games don’t run at 60 mhz like most LCD monitors do. Arcade monitors actually run at 57 mhz.
The most obvious effect on this is the game’s speed when making the transition to console (yes, it this actually does effect the way the game would play).
The objective is, when converting from console to arcade, they want to make sure the game’s display is at the right output to basically play on anyone’s TV. While for Arcade, they have specific monitors that will only show a display on those types of monitors because of the hardware is being process on.
This goes for CRTs as well.
Bottom line: No, the game will not lag on.
Daemon Bride 1.5 has no reports of lag, I’m sure this game will have a good HD conversation as well.
Worse case scenario, you can plug the NESiCA system into a CRT monitor, and still play the games are the proper resolutions.
