Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE Mod Help

#1

Hello!

I have a quick question I was hoping you guys could help me with. I want to replace the stick on my Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE with a Sanwa stick which? I plan to buy on Lizard Lick. However, I noticed that there are several different models to choose from. Does anyone happen to know which Sanwa model joystick is compatible with the Hori Real Acrade Pro EX-SE? I don’t want to end up with a Joystick that doesn’t fit. I’m very new to this sort of stuff so I’m sorry if this seems like a stupid question. I did my best trying to figure it out myself but I had no luck.

Thanks in advance

Sanwa JLF-TM-8T.

Then solder the wires directly to the Microswitch Terminals.
Or crimp on .187" Quick Disconnects for easy swap next time.

There is only one JLF anyways.
Just different suffix to tell what is added on.

Want a Shaft Cover?
Then get the above ending in -SK.

Is there anyway I can avoid the soldering?

I just said what you could do.
Crimp on .187" Quick Disconnects.

Ah… Sorry… I’m a complete noob at this.

According to Lizard Lick, the JLF-TM-8T-SK uses .187" quick-connects.

So if I get that model I shouldn’t have to worry about doing any soldering right?

Would I still have to do something else?

Again, I’m really sorry. This is my first time

What you have to do is buy eight .187" Quick Disconnects.
Strip a little insulation off the wires.
Then crimp Quick Disconnects on.

Use pliers or something if you do not have a Crimper Tool.
Use scissor or blade or something if you do not have Stripper Tool.
Use scissor or blade or something if you do not have Wire Cutter to cut wire.
