I bought a Haier HL22XLT2 and i’m using AV cables and i have a bit of lag. I was wondering, if i use HDMI, would that get rid of the lag?
There will always be a degree of lag from a game system to a television set, but a HDMI cable should have less lag than Component (A/V) RCA cables. That is providing your gaming system have HDMI capability. HDTVs with Analog pass though usually have less lag on AV and RF connections than HDTVs with out the analog pass though.
If you want to get rid of the lag I’d get a VGA cable to bypass any post-processing the TV is doing.
Using the VGA port does not always bypass image processing.
