I'm free, need help with throw techs/frame traps

I know somewhere if I dig deep enough I can find info on Ken’s frame traps and how do execute them, but to be honest I don’t know where to look and was hoping for someone to help me because it just seems as if every time I go for a cr.strong I get grabbed or lk’d. I don’t fully understand the game mechanic of throwing in this game, it seems to beat out moves that are meaty. Also I try to time crouch techs, but I get 1 out of 15, but when other people do it to me it always techs. I am really confused and it would be nice for someone to explain to me what I should be doing, throw techs and frame traps. Once I get this down I think I can move onto option selects. ( os sweep only gets you so far lol ). Thanks to anyone for reading and that could help!

Make sure you have tight blockstrings and you won’t be thrown.
As in, first of all go to the general Ken thread, look at the Bread n Butter combos, do them as fast as you can without leaving any gaps between each button.

if youre getting thrown then it means your meaty cr.mp is being mistimed. youre doing it too early so your active frames (the frames in which your cr.mp can hit your opponent) are ending which allows your opponent to throw you.

Not really, I can tech just fine on XBL… if you can’t then that means you have bad connections, you opponent has bad connections or you’re not good at teching.

Sometimes though you just can’t have that good of a connection all the time depending on where you live. I’ve had matches where I’ve teched perfectly. I can offline as well,but I’m just saying that you can never be too sure even when it’s green bars.
