Interesting trick with basketball

It was shown very briefly in C Royds misc 3s video (not where I got the idea though :p).

You know how if you do a close s.roundhouse or c.fierce then cancel into an uppercut, the uppercut always misses? If you throw a basketball in a way that it hits after the fierce/roundhouse (like, Throw ball, close s.roundhouse, ball hits, XX uppercut) you can do that combo, because the basketball makes it so you aren’t pushed away too far after the hit, for some reason.

Since it also puts them in incredibly short blockstun perhaps Ball, fierce, (ball hits) karathrow could be an effective trick?

Not Always. s.fierce>shoruken(jab punch) it always connects
