Is there a happ stick with ball top or a sanwa jlf with a round gate?

I have been looking and all I found was someone with a round gate mod for a sanwa te stick. I was kinda looking at getting a happ stick due to its stiffness and maybe getting a ball top instead of the bat.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

In the trading outlet a guy sells custom jlf roundgates.

I don’t think the VersaBall2 (HAPP Ball) ever made it to market. I wanted one back in May. You would have to go the cut/mod route that jdm posted.

An LS-56 could be something that might interest you. It has an available octo gate thats second to none and is much stiffer then a JLF.
Being Japanese, it’s still very accurate and durable plus it’s compact thus easy to fit into a standard case. American sticks tend to need more depth.

Another good option is a Korean stick. They are gate-less, like american sticks but are the size of Sanwa/Seimitsu.
I prefer Myoungshin Fanta myself but there are a few options, depending on the stiffness and feel you’re looking for.

Hit up Laugh (SRK member) for Fantas and other Korean parts. (Thinks he has a webshop now)
Gaming now has Crown sticks (another Korean brand), check them out as well

You can get a round gate for Seimitsu LS-32s. They are stiffer than a JLF but not as much as a LS-56.

Thanks for all of your replies. I just got my Mad Catz TE stick in the mail this past Tuesday and I am still getting use to it. I might try to install the Korean joystick or maybe a Semitsu in my other joystick which is a Hong Kong Sanwa knock off. Should be easy to do without having to do all the custom box work, etc.

I will let you know how it goes and post some pics.
