I’ve looked up the Crosscounter Ibuki guide and I practiced the BnB’s. But I don’t know what else to learn. Like I don’t even know common sense. I go into a game, get stomped and now I don’t know what to do.
If you **just **got the game…expect to job for first few months.
You can check the Ibuki section for some write ups…take the time to learn her basic attacks/combos, and work from there.
yea I picked up the game like… 2 days ago. So should I master the combos first? And then get to simple mechanics?
Learn the overall basics like normals and specials…did you at least do her trials?
I made a basic Ibuki tutorial which you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0Ije2qzIB0
It goes over all her moves with some frame data and basic usage. Just practice using her normals and please for the love of God, don’t jump straight into Tsumuji loops and SJC stuff. Also don’t random Neckbreaker and you’ll be doing better than a lot of Ibukis.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
Master her simple mechanics first, then learn her combos. Honestly, you can just learn her basic hit confirm combos, as listed in the Ibuki guide, and you can do fairly well with her.
It’s important to understand how her normals work, how to anti-air to stop jump attacks, and getting a good grasp of what you’re supposed to accomplish in a fighting game, and the tools you can use to achieve that goal.
