Making a non-common ground pad (Dreamcast Performance Astropad) common ground?

#1

I’m currently trying to hack a third-party Dreamcast controller (Performance Astropad) but it doesn’t appear to be common ground. Is there a way to wire it so that it functions as a common ground pad so I can use it in a project box?

#2

No way that would be cheaper OR easier than just buying a common ground pad.

#3

why do you need it to function as common ground anyway

#4

Most likely for multi-PCB setups…

I’ve got a Sega DC pad that’s supposed to be common ground, but I’ve read that the triggers lag on it.

Because I’d be connecting to it through a DB25 cable that’s wired for common ground PCB’s.
