I’ve been told that meaty attacks don’t really exist in this game, in the sense that having an opponent wake up into your attack does not grant you any additional frame advantage. Coming from the SF2 perspective, meaty attacks are just a natural extension of the game engine. In Marvel 2, what specifically prevents meaties from working?
I’ve also heard that reversal attacks do not exist in this game. For a long time I sort of assumed it was just a figure of speech because (virtually) all wakeup attacks are (easily) stuffable. Is this correct, or is there actually a particular mechanic that prevents them from functioning?
