I think that after gathering this data, we should really look into V-ism combos.

The only problem with v-ism combos is that Zero doesn’t come out of his animation until after the shadow is finished with it’s animation. This means that the only useful v-ism move (in a combo) is as a finisher.

Also, I wanted to note that Air 236 B or C will OTG. The v-ism shadow hit of Air 236 B or C will not hit an opponent that is in knockdown state, nor will it OTG.

Also. V-ism buster can be used mid combo. And can continue mid combo. Don’t forget that you can still BBQ/Assist while in V-ism.

Only the level 1 Buster can be used to continue a combo, and you have to do it at a specific distance (usually only works immediately after a 5C (3 hits). Due to the fact that both the level 1 Buster and 5C scale the combo more than they add damage; it makes it fairly useless. Also, I don’t know of a way to start v-ism mid-combo without already using your assist up.

V-ism Buster Lvl 2 and 3 combo mid combo with no assist in a corner, and I am fairly certain it is possible mid-screen as I can almost get it but i just seem to be be fast enough.

Also, the only way to combo into V-ism mid combo is to BBQ into it. The easiest way is to use 5C.

5C BBQ into Vism. It’s also possible of 6C but just a fuck ton harder.

You can combo into V-ism with Ryu assist.

Something I just randomly discovered while playing against Saki - and honestly I would find it extremely hard to believe if something like this hadn’t already been found but I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere or used in any videos I’ve seen, so excuse me if this is already known - 6C cuts through projectiles. Try it against Saki’s gun; it makes that matchup especially a lot easier.

edit: almost immediately after finding this, I found 5C does the same thing, so there’s no way this isn’t known already. I’m probably going to look like a scrub for not knowing this and I’m predicting people are going to think something like “how could you not know this”… QQ it just never came up until now lol.
