Modding a Pelican Real Arcade Stick

Hey guys!

A couple years back, I purchased this Pelican Real Arcade stick so that I could play mvc2 on my xbox. I also eventually got the Street Fighter anniversary with Third Strike. Problem is, the joystick is very lacking and has been ever since I got the joystick, but I never bothered to change it. Never too late eh?

I have never modded or even dealt with parts for an arcade stick, so I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction as to how to replace the joystick. Also what parts should I get/ where should I get them? Should I replace the buttons as well? And what tools do I need?
