I’ve seen a lot of press releases lately about sanwa’s silent buttons. Now I’ve been doing a bit research on my own and looking into further design projects but couldn’t you just added a sponge or some other sort of soft layer between the plunger and the housing? Has anyone attempted with something like cotton wool or something? It might cause a little extra force to press the button down but this should still reduce the noise overall right?
I used some synthetic felt I found in an old table place mat. No more annoying clack.
