I understand where youāre coming from and itās disappointing that Shok does this kind of shit, Iām also disappointed but not surprised to hear about all the flack you got for even taking a project like this on. Seriously. Anyway I wish you luck in your future endevours, hope you get to see all your work pay off and I hope you get to take some time off to have some nice R&R. Seriously, the amount of flack that Monster gets just because of itās aesthetic is bullshit. How many good fighting games out there have a primarily anthropomorphic cast of characters? Not many, so itās hardly reasonable to bash it when it is in fact a breath of fresh air compared to another more prolific genre such as, oh, loli fighters.
All of this is really disappointing. But I personally am going to sit through it, because Iām still wanting to see it be completed.
For the kemono/anthro/furry enthusaists out there, the game is like āwow, someone actually managed to do something with the style and take it seriously.ā Itās going to be a good example for lots of artists with similar tastes to follow.
Meanwhile, I still have plenty of other doujin games to get hyped up about while I wait for Monster.

game is still coming out for arcade definitely, but the pc release iām not too sure when thats happening.

ShoK invested too much time into Monster. Both versions will come out. The only question is who will care by then!

I remember when I first made my topic a couple of years back.
Now the people that supported this game more than I do is bailing out because the creatorās unable to keep to proper work ethics (ie deadlines).

Even something vague like āOne of the characters MIGHT be an ocelot who fights using a set of nunchakuā or āOne of the new characters is a grappler who also has a fairly strong ranged gameā
There must be some loopholes you can exploit this way. Note me about it or something if you MUST keep it a secret because Iām not letting the hype die down just yet.
