I’ve been searching the forum for a solution, but I haven’t found an answer that was exact. I just bought a Sanwa JLF-TP-8T Joystick and buttons, and installed them on my Madcatz SE stick yesterday. As I was playing, I realized that the joystick was making a squeaking sound whenever it was put back to the neutral position from d.b, b, and u.b. It doesn’t hinder my execution, but it’s annoying and I want to make sure that it doesn’t cause any damage. I read that it could be caused by the washer, mounting plate, or could just use some grease. I made sure everything was correct and snug before I finished the installation. If I continued playing like this, would any part of the joystick get damaged or worn?
