I was just wondering, are all jlfs supposed to only have one dust disc with them? i have a sanwa for my SE and it only had 1, but i just noticed that my TE has 2, one on top of the case and one underneath the case… anyone know if its supposed to be like that?
I’ve gotten sticks with one and sticks with two, from the same vendor no less.
Pretty sure it’s 1. My TE has 1. My other JLF has 1, but the shaft/dust cover combo came with 2.
Just take a look at the Sanwa catalog and you’ll see that the JLF is supposed to have 2 dust covers. It’s only normal that the shaft cover comes with 2 dust covers as well.
its definitely 2, on the TE you will see the second one underneath the panel. so the layering should be balltop, shaft cover, dust cover, panel, then dust cover.
yep what the above said +1
hrm… are all sanwa jlfs supposed to come with a shaft cover?
Not all Sanwa JLF will come with Shaft Cover.
Only JLF with designated “SK” in model variation.
You can buy seperate.
It is Sanwa Part# JLF-CD.
Here the six variations listed in Sanwa Catalog:
JLF-TP-8 is Base JLF.
JLF-TP-8Y is Base JLF with the TP-MA (PCB) rotated 90.
JLF-TP-8T is Base JLF with JLF-P1 (Flat Mounting Plate).
JLF-TP-8YT is Base JLF with the TP-MA (PCB) rotated 90 with JLF-P1 (Flat Mounting Plate).
JLF-TP-8S is Base JLF with the TP-MA (PCB) rotated 90 with JLF-P1-S (S Mounting Plate).
JLF-TP-8Y-SK is Base JLF with the TP-MA (PCB) rotated 90 with JLF-CD (Shaft Cover).
Of course other variations can be done too.
