The store supposedly is suppose to provide controllers, which apparently some are supplying sticks.

I hope they have sticks. It would suck to have to play on a 360 pad. They suck!!

From the store that I went to, it’s on pad :(. But fuck all that, I will spend the four days before the tournament playing on a pad and picking a character to fucking beast on all these fucks…ESPECIALLY all these jackoffs that preordered the fucking tournament edition sticks around here. They are my specific targets.

Not being able to bring your own stick is… really dumb, god I hate pad

I could probably manage if its the Madcatz pad. A regular 360 pad won’t do at all. I think Frank has the right idea though.

If it’s pad only for all rounds of the tourney I have absolutely no interest in this at all. If the pad only rule is only for the first round though, it’s on. Stay the fuck away from Kent Station please. I don’t want to have to play anyone who knows how to play fighting games if I gotta use some dirty fucking xbox pad. Pretty annoying…

Yeah, I want to play at some store in the middle of nowhere and win… :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah can we try to stay away from each other for the first round at least? I’m about to take over the crossroads one up here. Which leaves the bellsquare one…Cole!!!

I live like 1 minute from Kent Station. We will have a spicy pad showdown

Leave the Silverdale one alone. :looney:

I don’t want to see any of my SRK homies until Round 2.

I call dibs on northgate!

We should update the first post or otherwise collect who is going where. This is a good plan.

You’re gonna want to go up the hill. People who have never played WILL be getting raped by those of us who have already been playing. Not even trying to talk shit

If only they’d reserve some of the Fightsticks (regular edition, not even TEs) for this thing instead of resorting to pad-only.

Not that I’d be able to enter anyway, as I have work every Saturday afternoon, but still…

maybe we should put up the WA gamestops that are running this too. But I said it before and I’ll say it again, stay the hell away from the crossroads one.

updated the first post. Anybody else out there want to participate?

What’s wrong with the Crossroads one?

There’s a bunch in Washington. I’d probably go to one of these:

  • Redmond: Bear Creek
  • Redmond: Redmond Town Center
, probably the one in Bear Creek really because … really, who goes to that place?

I’ll be there. I imagine I’m better than a host of fighting game fodder that will show up, but I wouldn’t be opposed to any other SRKers from the 'Couve (I know there are a couple) showing up just in case I don’t have what it takes to dominate.

Might I suggest those of us who want to dominate get as much practice time in as possible between SFIV release and the tournament via Live and/or local play?
