PC recognizes my PS3 TE but doesn't register any inputs

When I plug in my TE into my PC (Windows 7 64-bit), it comes up as “PC USB Wired Stick 8838” but doesn’t register any inputs when I use the test tool, and no lights on the stick itself light up when they’re supposed to. I’ve looked across several topics for a solution, and the most I’ve come up with is that my PC isn’t compatible. I’ve tried plugging it into different USB ports, but they’ve all worked the same. What could be the problem? If it helps, my graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 6700.

Your PS3 TE stick is not compatible with your computer. This a common problem with these MadCatz sticks, 360 versions tend to be fine.

You can try plugging it in via a USB hub but I do not remember the name of the chipset you’d need. Search on the forum here and you should find it.
