Hi all,

This is a video that Blazt The Speakerz and CSVagrant have been working on and even though the exact release date isn’t certain yet they’ve decided to release a trailer for the upcoming video. We hope to release the video in late 2007 or early 2008. Anyway, the teaser download links are shown below. As always, please share your thoughts with us, thanks.

POTWW - Path Of World Warrior is a dedicated tribute video to the character Ryu.

Sweet. I like that lightning parry animation during the last storyboard.

So, uh, what’s this supposed to be exactly? Kick down some more details.

Thanks man… some of my friends have told me that I made Ryu look like a sith lord, LoL. Glad you like it.

Well, CSVagrant and I have been working on this project since April 07 and will continue until we feel the project is ready to be released. We are hoping that would be some time early 2008 or late 2007. It’s going to be a tribute video for Ryu with tons of awesome combos from a wide varety of games and yes, some anime.

For an example, please see the previous vide we released for Zangief here:

Thanks again for the comment. -B

Oh, right, i’ve seen that Zangief video. I was wondering why the intro logo looked familiar.

It was fun to watch but i thought the combos started off too basic. They did get pretty good towards the end so i’m not criticizing the overall quality of the content. However, the problem you run into when you start off too basic is that you give away most of the elements that you’ll be using in the advanced combos. So by the time you get around to the good stuff, the whole thing starts to seem a little bit repetitive.

A few of my friends saw the Gief vid, and they liked it too. I’ll let 'em know that you’re working on a new Ryu project.
