I guess the excuse of “the cook book called for it” will not fly in the long run.

I thought this was going to be about the scientific proposal that skin contact with food during preparation imparts certain desirable characteristics to the perceptible flavour of a finished dish, and the socio-politically quasi-controversial off-shoot sub-proposal that the skins of people of specific racial backgrounds affect those flavours in consistent ways that are at least partially unique from those of people of other ethnicities.

I fully support cannibalism threads, though.
