I’m about to get started on my first stick modification, and before I start desoldering I just want to make sure I have the right idea. I’m going to be working on a hori ex2 for the xbox, and I have the joystick opened up and I can see the pcb and everything.
What I want to know before I ruin this controller is under each button are two things of meal coming out of the board. they are just 2 round little balls of metal pretty much under each button. This is what I get hot and suck out right. It’s the only thing I could imagine have to jack with on the pcb at the time being. I just want someone to reassure me before I start burning this thing up. Thank you.
