Hey guys!
I have made a list of combos, and divided them into the different ranges.
This obviously isn?t for the pro?s it?s for the beginners, and people that are starting to master Sagat just now. It?s an overall understanding about when to use which combos.
I hope it helps, because thats the fundemental reason why I made this.

P.S.: Everyone can add, correct(ITO), etc? I?m open for whatever, as long as everybody learns, and has a possibility to get better at SF4 using Sagat.

cr.lp cr.mp doesn’t work.

Since you’re listing a bunch of shit I might as well add: TU fadc exTU Ultra. 3 bars but it looks cool.

This is funny! I guess you didn’t read the first part of the thread… info for beginners, ring a bell? I guess you can’t read… all you can do is double post and say you already know this! Wasn’t that f… enlightening!
The point of the forum is that people can exchange ideas, opinions and help each other out. This is my way of trying to help others.

Agree man, so many trolls trying to look leet by flaming around here. I for one appreciated your post.

Sometimes I run out of ideas at range 3/ mid distance and stupidly just throw a TS, only for the opponent to jump in and punish. I really need to practice being more comfortable doing nothing/baiting with lp/lk and then countering.

We don’t need another noob thread in the Sagat section. The superior, preexisting combo thread is stickied, right at the top of the page, and is a hell of a lot more useful than this thread.

It doesnt help that the person starting this thread shouldn’t be giving advice in the first place. He’s posting combos that don’t exist (c.lp c.mp LTS… huh?), useless combos (jf.hp, c.lk, c.lp, LTS, FADC, c.lk, c.mp, TU, FADC, f+hk, Ultra… seriously?), and doesn’t provide any insight on the combos, unlike in the superior, preexisting combo thread.

Congradulations Shin Kazuya. You know how to copy and paste :tup:. I get it man, you want to help other people. Problem is you aren’t helping, and you’re only contributing clutter. And incorrect clutter at that, that certainly isn’t going to help any.
New players, this is not who you want to learn from. Go here, read the existing posts, ask any questions you still have, get reliable answers. The greatest mistake a new challenger can make is to ignore the multitude of information already on SRK in favor of noob-banter.

i actually enjoy this thread. the list is small enough to print on a few pages. im going to take a dump and study my crossups and tick throws at the same time :pleased:

I know there’s allot of threads about combos, i think it’s a good contribute to the forums… keep posting… one thing, i should suggest, post a complete guide of counter moves to each characters for example:

Sagat vs ryu

Ryu down forward and fireball combo counter saget upper cut, or FDAC
Ryu medium punch string = upper cut, or throw
Ryu cross you over = auto correct upper cut FDAC back dash…

His basic bnb combo you should be using is c.lk c.lk c.lp xx TU it’s a bit advanced but you can do it!

And when you get even more advanced into character-specific you can do c.lk>c.lk>c.mp>xx HP TU, but make sure of the hitbox of the character you’re facing and the range.
