SE Stick - Unresponsive Button

#1

I’m not very knowledgeable on sticks (in fact I’ve hardly any idea where to begin when modding them) though I am reading up daily on what is what, so don’t be too harsh.

Recently I picked up an SE stick and there’s only one problem with it – a single button drops almost every input I give it.

I’ve searched and maybe I’ve missed it, sorry if so.

Would buying new parts from lizardlick fix the problem, or should I open the stick up and void the warranty to check it out and see if something is loose?

Once again I’m COMPLETELY new to this stuff, and this is my first stick. Thanks for any help you guys can give me

SE buttons tend to die in 1 month to 6 months. Wiggle off quick disconnects with needle nose pliers and a small screwdriver to pry off the ones on tight. Get OSBF-30s snap ins to replace the SE buttons.

Don’t remove SE buttons until you have replacements in hand. There is a chance the fragile switch will break apart when you remove them.

Well, the stick in the TE is an actual Sanwa JLF; it should be pretty durable. Have you tried unplugging and re-seating the wiring harness? It’s possible it just came a bit loose.
