  • 2pm until whenever (9ish), $5 venue fee and food (please)

  • Mid West tournament Season I Continues with Round II action
    ----- MVC3, Tekken, 3rd strike (reg at 130-400) (tournament action starts at 430-500)

  • Side Tournament for AE teams (2 players) and whatever else we can get 8 or more people to join. Pirin is hosting!

Console Combats Mid West Tournament Season!

  • From July 2011 to January 2012
  • $5 entry fee for all events!
    o Every tournament’s payout/points schedule is as followed
  • 1st 16 points
  • 2nd 8 points
  • 3rd 4 points
  • 4th and 5th place 2 points
  • 6th and 7th place 1 point

o Points will go toward seeding the finale in January 2012
o $$$$$$$$$$

  • 70% of the total amount collected will be returned to the players,
    the remaining 30% will go toward the pot bonus in January’s Finale
  • Payouts

1-8 players entered: 1st and 2nd

8-16 players entered: 1st and 2nd

17-32 players entered: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

33-64 players entered: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

  • The remaining 30% will go to providing pot bonus for finale in January.
    Console Combat will match pot bonus earned from qualifiers. So if we earned
    $500 for AE from qualifiers… the pot bones will be $1000 in January
  • The January finale will be $10 entry fee for all games plus a $15 Venue fee. This may
    be a 2 day event. Pot bonus, as described above, will go to the winner.

  • Players will be seeded based on their earned seeding points. To participate in finale,
    players must have participated in one qualifying event for the game they want to enter.

    o Super Street Fighter 4 AE (Standard rules apply, blanka alt 3 banned)
    o Marvel vs Capcom 3 (standard tourney rules)
    o Street Fighter II: Super Turbo
    o Street Fight III: 3rd Strike
    o Tekken 6
    o Mortal Kombat 9 (Pool Play Tournament Design hosted by Rob Khonsu)
    o Arcana Heart 3

Is Tekken on ps3 or 360?

ps3. we are a 360 community but the better tekken players say its only played competitively on ps3. everything else is 360 for the most part
