SETX FGC and the Human Society of SETX present: Big Money Battle For Broke - November 5 Beaumont, TX

Our scene is collaborating with the local Humane Society branch to hold the largest tournament in the Southeast Texas region. In March of this year, an electrical fire broke out at the shelter, killing 74 dogs, with the puppy room recieving most of the damage. With this event, we’re attempting to help them out while also creating some fun and exciting competition. We’ll be running tournaments for Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, Killer Instinct, Super Smash Bros Melee, Wii U and even Project M. We will be running this event at Lamar University at 4400 S M. L. King Jr. Pkwy Beaumont, Texas 77710 on Saturday November 5, 2016.

Entry fee is 5$, which goes toward the Humane Society as a donation, and then 10$ per game. If you can’t make it but want to support the event or the Humane Society, you can offer a much appreciated donation. Half of each donation will go to the Society, and half will go to the prize pool. Payout will be given to top 5, with first place getting 50% .

The event schedule is as follows…

We’re a smaller scene compared to many, but we’re very passionate about running this event, and we’d love to see anyone who can make it show up to compete. Texas’s own Pugilist Penguin will be helping us run the stream, so major shout outs to him! Any extra setups you want to bring are much appreciated as well, and if you have a setup for one of the games we’re running, even better. The more we have, the more smoothly our tournament can run.
