Sixaxis r1 r2 l1 l2 buttons inputs when releasing the button

#1

Hi guys,

i looked all around the internet for any info about this, and i cant believe nobody ever came across it.

When playing sf4 or ssf4 it becames impossible to perform some combos because of this issue, and weirdly, the input data in the training does not show the “fake input”.

its funny, i can do combos like c.mp m.hadouken with only one hit at mp.

is there a solution for this issue?

thanks

its negative edge from holding the button down while you input the command for the next move, if you want to stop that form occurring you have to release the button before the qcf

its not an issue because its an intended game mechanic

really? intended? i just dont understand why it only happens with the l and r buttons. also, i dont keep the button pressed, i just push it like any oyher button.
Actually, the only way to do the combo is to keep the button pressed and release after the combo is finished which sucks.

i would assume that either

  1. the buttons stick for a split second
  2. you just keep the button down habitually,
either way, c.mp > mp.hadouken should not be difficult at all.
and yes its intended, iirc most vipers use negative edge when they perform FFF
