Take off analog sticks on DS1 PCB?

Is it possible to take off the little PCB on which are stored the analog sticks on a Dual Shock PCB ?

Those sticks are quite inconveniant in a box since they are completely useless, and we can’t remove them just by desoldering them without having problems.

I heard they can be removed and resistors can neutralize them, any idea ?

Yes, if you are semi-ok with circuitry knowledge, you can take the analog board out and replace them with just 2 resistors to keep the left analog stick in constant neutral.

Thanks !

May someone know where the resistors have to be soldered, and what kind of resistors I need ?

BTW, neutralizing both sticks would even be better.
