they have 4"x5" wacom tablets for $78 and 6"x8" for $159, both graphix not intuous. that is the cheapest place i have seen on the web for tablets.
good tip for drawing wrinkles, rook. as an alternative, someone can also look at some classical art for reference. i recommend michelangelo and some other renaissance artists for drawing clothing. their works are so close to the real thing, i dont think you can go wrong in imitating their style. so as a rule, i think you can draw from illustrations as long as the artist makes an accurate depiction of the clothing.
