TTT2 sold...

Unlike what we’re hearing, TTT2 is doing just well, selling near
840,000 copies on Japan and Europe (not including Americas). It’s
noteworthy too that The Wii U version of the game is not released yet
and the holiday season hasn’t hit just yet.

SCV also shows that it still has strong legs, reaching the millionth mark…

Just posting this to kill those DOA trolls…

and despite this, please keep supporting this game, just for their DLC stances alone… BUY YOUR COPY!!!

 Not sure what all the fuss is over Tekken’s numbers.

People these days are too glued to statistics. Besides, Tekken historically sells more units over an extended period of time, rather than up front.

The only way to kill trolls is to not walk across their bridge.

DOA can kick rocks.

 Hey hey hey now.

It’s all love, yeah? Besides, DoA has Helena~ <3 <3 <3

But Tekken has Jun! <3 <3 <3 And Michelle! <3 <3 <3

Japan had TTT2 in Arcades for a long time even before the console release.

Sales don’t determine the quality of the game.

The Call of Duty franchise is an outstanding example of this.

I agree, but try telling that to the general public who follow trends and judge a game’s quality by how shiny the graphics are -.-

And it’s funny because COD has had the same god-awful graphics since what, 2006?

ehh its what they have to to get cod at 60 fps, next console with more power they will be trying to add dynamic lighting to the engine, doa and tekken are both great games

Not much better than Source engine graphics lol

This should provide a good sample of how TTT2 is doing in the FGC.

In a Capcom orientated site, this is very good, much better than I expected. Just check the numbers for SC5, VF5, DoA5 to see how 3D fighters struggle there.

TTT2 is the best Fighter EVER!!!

Last Namco financial results, TTT2 sold 1.35 million worldwide.

I’m not sure it will reach Namco’s expected sales of 2 million though. It’s undersold by 650000 copies right now. Is there a time limit on when they need to reach 2 million?

If I had to take a guess, it’s probably within a year’s time.

It’s actually selling well, considering too that the game hasn’t had a real price drop just yet. The whole thing doesn’t consider downloaded copies and online passes that bought on used copies. It can outsell SC5 in the long run…
