This was my first Super Street Fighter Four Tournament I entered, and it was really fun. I’ll be back for sure. (Was under alias DMD) I tipped the hell out of all the waiters lol!

This was a really fun tournament, was great seeing everyone and meeting people in the Dallas scene I’ve never met before.

Also, any way we can also get the results for the team tournament?

Shout-outs to Jeff and Kent once again. I can’t go to other tournaments without thinking, “This would be so much better if Jeff and Kent were running it.”

This tournament was run exceptionally well, I do have a few suggestions:

  1. Get more standing space (move tables) and maybe arrange setups as a single back-to-back row of stations
  2. Similar to (1), use some bright colored tape to let people know where the no standing area is in front of the streaming station. Going to the bathroom in a bar is important! :slight_smile:
  3. Start KOF early because it takes fooooreeeeverrrr but it was still amazing to watch that game on the stream.

Great venue and location, really hoping they will have us back. The owner looked like an older, bigger, Frank West. That shit is hype , son.

Is this a common event? I’m up in Frisco and would enjoy coming out to this kind of stuff.

Are there other major events that happen routinely?

What’s the casual scene like at these events? I’m surely not good enough to place beyond last :wink: but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want to get some playing in.

People play casuals before the games but if you want casuals hit up the House of Goons in Plano. Good people frequent there who want to help you get better at games. Just do some homework beforehand to make the most of it. :slight_smile:
