What do you guys use for punishing big whiffs, with EX and no EX meter?

For me it depends on the matchup and the spacing as they land or recover.

In general though, without ultra or super…

Close w/charge w/meter: close roundhouse, low strong, (ex upper, low jab, low strong), fierce straight
Close w/charge w/meter: close roundhouse, low strong, (ex upper, low jab, low strong)
, ex dsb reset, low strong, (ex upper, low jab, low strong), fierce straight
Close w/charge w/o meter: close roundhouse, low strong, fierce straight
Close w/o charge w/o meter: fa2, low jab, low jab, low strong, fierce straight
Far w/charge w/meter: low strong, (ex upper, low jab, low strong), fierce straight
Far w/charge w/meter: low strong, (ex upper, low jab, low strong)
, ex dsb reset, low strong, (ex upper, low jab, low strong)
, fierce straight
Far w/charge w/o meter: low strong, fierce straight
Far w/o charge w/o meter: low roundhouse

  • Repeated as necessary depending on matchup
    ** Meter permitting

St. RH >> St. Jab >> St. RH (no charge)

(Lv. 2 FA) St. RH >> St. Jab XX DS or Ex Rush Upper

(Lv. 2 FA) Cr. MK >> Cr. LK XX DS or Headbutt or Ex Rush Upper for a longer combo

Now those are usually what I try to get when I have the opportunity to dish out a nice combo. When I need to play it safe I’ll go with the safety of…

Cr. Lp >> Cr. Lp >> Cr. LK XX Headbutt

When my opponent whiffs something from a distance but I don’t have charge, I usually use fs. hk (works well against most pokes), cr. hk (if I need a knockdown to start my offense) , or fs. hp (against particularly long reaching pokes like Guile’s cr. hk)
