Yun Fighter 4?

#1

This is a bit of a rant, but, I went to my local arcade in Austin last night – expecting some fun competition. Know what I found? Yun on Yun madness!

There’s only two SF4AE cabinets at Arcade UFO. And one of them was always taken by Yun / Yun players. The other had some decent competition, but Yun was still chosen most of the time.

Is this what SF4AE has devolved to? Shall we call it Yun fighter 4? Every single great player in the place was using Yun. I miss the old days of SSF4 where folks picked a variety of characters. How many times can you stomach Yun’s cheese?

Blech.

Hurrah for free rebalance on console and pc, that will make its way to Arcade too.

For the record, I’m hating Yun Fighter 4 too, albeit from home.

Yun’s beatable. End of story.

Also those players are probably practicing up for the SBO qualifiers which will be taking place on August 13.

Almost everyone in the US who tried to run Yun bandwagon ended up getting blown up.
In most tourneys, we see character variety still.
In my near arcade, only one person uses Yun.
Still perfectly beatable.

Sorry that in your arcade people switched to him and made you feel bored, but it is nowhere near representative of the whole scene, be it arcades, online and tourneys.

While I agree Yun has a few too many good points/safe shit people should stop whining so hard.

Be thankful it’s not the Third Strike situation.
